Listening Ear

  • At Bolsover C of E we provide a safe environment for children to discuss their wishes and feelings.
  • Children are given time during the day to speak openly and safely about their worries, concerns, family events or exciting things they are doing.
  • Listening Ear is provided by Mrs Moore and Mrs Vernon, children may also wish to speak to any other member of staff, However, Mrs Moore and Mrs Vernon have time set aside specifically for Listening Ear each day.
  • We organise nurture sessions to support children socially and emotionally, this may be short or long term depending on the children’s needs.
